The forthcoming eleventh edition of Festival Mediterranea, an annual festival of culture, featuring opera, music, dance, history and archaeology, local crafts, food and wine, and art, has been launched by Teatru Astra.

Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly takes pride of place in this year's programme of events, with a double representation at Teatru Astra in Victoria - on Thursday 25 and on Saturday 27 October.  World class singer Daniela Dessì will be taking on the leading role.  Both representations start at 19.30hrs.
